How we make money

Where the money comes from

• Hotel bookings. When you book a stay through our booking pages, the booking runs through Nuitee, our booking partner, and we earn money on it.
• Tours and tickets. The tour boxes and booking calendars come from GetYourGuide, and they're affiliate links. Click through and book within 31 days, and GetYourGuide pays us a commission. You pay the same price either way.

What money doesn't buy

• A spot on the site. No hotel, place or tour operator pays to be here. Every place earned its spot before we went looking for a tour to attach to it.
• A better ranking. Our ranked lists are ordered by what we'd actually do first, not by what pays.
• A tour where none fits. Most places on the site have no tour at all, because nothing honest exists for them. We'd rather show nothing than something off topic.

Who picks the tours

It depends on the box, and we say which under each one. On city and hotel pages, GetYourGuide picks its top tours for that city. On our ranked lists and place pages, we picked the tours by hand, and only ones that fit the page.

How to spot it

Every tour box and booking calendar carries a one-line note right under it saying we earn a cut. Booking happens on GetYourGuide's site, under its terms and privacy policy. How we handle your data is in ours.
