Drove 15 hours from Texas to stay here and arrived at check-in time only to find people in hazmat suits and the building completely shut down due to a fire. At no point were we notified this had happened. In fact, we received a confirmation email the night before as if everything was completely normal. Being left without a place to stay three states away after a 15-hour drive is beyond unacceptable. The lack of communication is honestly shocking. A simple email, call, or cancellation notice could have prevented us from showing up to a closed building with nowhere to go. If a property is literally shut down, notifying your guests should be the bare minimum.

The location and price were great. | I stayed here before and the room was in much better shape. The room I was given this time was not very clean and needed some updates.

We loved the location. We love Estes We try different hotels every time we come. I would say this one is top 5 | I know there was a fire but no breakfast at all. No communication during the fire to let people know what's going on.

This is my partner and I’s favorite place to stay when we come to Estes park. The hotel itself is old and not everything is the neatest or cleanest, but their staff is always so incredibly friendly and accommodating and they have a 24 hr game room and an indoor pool for when you’re here in the winter months, and free unique breakfast! Any of the problems we had were not enough to justify less than 4 stars, especially for the price.
