Children traveled with us and had specifically booked for the indoor pool. It was closed. After 8 pm-and everyone in pj's an announcement and fire alarm came on stating to evacuate the building.In the lobby were babies,children,old folks. There was no communication whatsoever, for us, as to what happened-where to go or when to return to our room. When we did return we could not use the elevator-felt bad for the older folks who may be unable to navigate steps well-unsure if they were offered assistance. It was quite unsettling and scary-especially for the kids.

I requested a room near the elevator on my reservation and was stashed away on top floor about as far from the elevator as it gets. No recognition of this during check-in process. Also, for business travel I put room charge on corporate card and incidentals on personal CC. Charging room to corporate card requires some coordination in advance, i.e. faxed CC authorization, a call ahead to make sure the paperwork is complete, etc. Upon checking in I repeated myself multiple times which card was for what charge, and it was still mishandled. Not the end of the world and my personal CC was refunded, but it is annoying how many times I repeated the request, the front desk looked at me and indicated their comprehension, my corporate TA went through the effort to fax over a CC authorization which the Hotel completed, but still charged the wrong card :(

Great location | The pool was crowded and then the next day was out of service. So we were never able to go inside. Very disappointed.
