The cabin was so cozy! We had a wonderful stay. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Everything was clean. The kitchen was fully stocked. We were able to purchase groceries nearby and prepare our own meals. Our favorite feature of the cabin was the screened back patio. We enjoyed sitting in the patio, eating meals and listening to the flow of the river. The host communicated well with us. We really appreciated her accessibility and support as this was our first time visiting the area. We look forward to staying at this relaxing riverfront sanctuary again.

I stayed at this property 3 times (5 nights total) in May 2024 while doing banana slug research in the McKenzie area. It was perfect for accessing all areas along the McKenzie - from Clear Lake down to HJ-Andrews. We hiked basically the entire McKenzie River Trail in sections (with the help of a local shuttle service) - and never had to drive more than 20 minutes. Thanks to the extreme weather this May, some of my stays were during a heatwave and others were during a cold-snap, with snow on the hills - and the river was always high and scenic. The property was peaceful and offered a lovely view of the river and some of the surrounding hills. The beds/bedding were outstanding. The internet was some of the best I've had at any lodging in Oregon. The kitchen was great. There was plenty of room for ice chests and the screened-in patio was perfect for work and dining out when it was hot. In general, the place totally felt like home to me and I look forward to returning. It was also one of the nicest places I've stayed in Oregon. | This was not a dislike - but more something folks visiting this area should be aware of: McKenzie Bridge has very few services like restaurants/food/grocery. Knowing that (but mostly because I like to cook), I brought/cooked all my own food/meals - which was one of many reasons I chose this property. It seemed like most properties in McKenzie Bridge were cabin or house rentals - so folks should pick a place with a good kitchen (which this property had) and plan accordingly with food/meal-planning.

Was an absolutely beautiful place. I don't feel like the pictures do it justice. Can't wait to go back with my family.
