Friendly staff, excellent breakfast & overall ambiance of the venue. | The mattress springs were creeky. The uncomfortable mattress left me with sore spots in back and hips.

Along with being a wonderful owner, Paul served up excellent meals every morning! One morning I had the spinach quiche and it was fabulous. The third morning I had the maple biscuits and sausage gravy and that's not normally something that I will eat. However! I'm glad I ordered it-I don't regret it! They always put out wonderful selection of fresh fruits, fresh cheeses, even pate! I just can't say enough about our experience. I can't wait to return! I'm very high maintenance and my entire stay exceeded all expectations. Stunning home. Thank you for having us.

Excellent costumer service

Very clean, and cozy room. The hotel was just off the main area so it was a close walk to all the bars and restaurants. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was great with multiple options for made to order dishes.

We had a wonderful time at the Anchor Inn! The host was very personable and cooked fantastic breakfasts each morning. Good parking, great location, and beautiful rooms. Looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful Boutique hotel off the main square yet close enough for an easy walk. This provides the perfect recipe for peace and quiet and fun! We were greeted by Paul, part of the owner couple, who told us our room was ready early so we could drop our bags and begin to explore the island. The room we had was elegantly curated and included a balcony off the back that we made great use of for an evening nightcap. Breakfast, well breakfast is a treat. The breakfast time is fairly broad for a boutique property but don't get cocky and miss out. Our visit was perfect weather so we ate on the balcony facing the street. I only give high recommendations occasionally and this is one of those times. If you are coming to the island for a sloppy drunk weekend, however, this might not be your place. There are probably other places better suited for your type of activities.
