Location room and cleanup.
The staff and the location | It’s a bit pricey for the quality of the food and facilities. They’re good, but not great.
This was my first stay at a Royal Sonesta hotel and it was incredible. The Capitol Hill location is a 6 minute walk from Union Station; perfect since my train came in late and I didn't want to navigate DC in the dark on my first night there. I had an amazing breakfast/brunch meal each day I was there...I wouldn't change a thing about that lovely restaurant. Staff and facilities were pristine and communication with front desk staff for minor issues (leaky commode/request for later checkout) was responsive and professional. I would recommend this hotel without reservation for anyone looking for a modern, clean, quiet place to land after exploring DC. | The wifi connection wasn't as strong as I would have preferred. Certainly not a deterrent in any fashion.
