The bed was big and comfortable | The breakfast wasn't good. At check in we were told breakfast is down here which I took to mean on the ground floor. It's actually in a small room under the lobby it was like a school canteen

Wir waren von der Sauberkeit und dem Zustand des Zimmers positiv überrascht. Auch der Empfang war super. Klimaanlage modern und nicht zu laut. Generell gute akkustische Gegebenheiten und nicht laut. Haben uns im Zimmer wohl. Sicher und gemütlich angekommen gefühlt. Kaffee und Wasser (2 kleine Flaschen) waren als Gastgeschenk dabei!!! Zugang zu Manhattan über Brooklyn Bridge problemlos. | Red Hook ist nicht der schönste Teil von Brooklyn. Das Hotel selbst ist überdurchschnittlich für die Region in unseren Augen. Die Gänge sind entgegen der Zimmer selbst etwas älter und könnten in den nächsten Jahren eine Renovierung brauchen. Das Frühstück war nach erster Enttäuschung (gelieferten Mikrowellenessen) dennoch schmackhaft.

I think the price per night needs to be factored in at the forefront here and Red Hook Lodge exceeded my expectations for lodging at this price point. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. The staff (front desk as well as housekeeping) were all very helpful and welcomed you with a great attitude. The cleanliness of the room at this price point was very good. The free 2 x bottles of water daily and coffee pods are a nice touch. | The elevator is pretty slow.
