We were very impressed with every aspect of this well run, comfortable hotel right in the heart of Boston. Our room was enormous; the bed was terrific as were the views looking out into the harbor. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome; kudos to the excellent concierge as well. Breakfast was delicious. One of the best of this brand we've stayed at and we hope to visit again! It was a great stay. We didn't want to leave!
Me and my wife were celebrating our 40th Anniversary. She always wanted to visit Boston so she booked the hotel. I was not impressed with your hotel. The only thing that we liked was your hotel was the concierge service, they were awesome.
Amazing experience at Intercontinental Boston, can’t wait to come back. Location is just perfect right by the water and outstanding customer service by Lili, Inilta and Krish. Checked in early for my special birthday with amazing room facing the water and delicious little treat for me. When I had an issue with noisy big dog barking at night they took care of it right away. Close to south station with shuttle bus to Logan. Gym, steam room is amazing. Loved my stay and can’t wait to return.
Dear Mr. Rice. I'd like to pass along some feedback from a recent stay this week. We received excellent hospitality from one of your star employees. Inilta. She went above and beyond with our check in, during our stay and as we checked out. As a seasoned business traveler, this means a great deal and is factored into where we stay on our work trips. Every single thing that could go wrong during an overnight stay went wrong and then some! Checked in at 1:00 expecting to have a nice leisurely lunch at the hotel's restaurant. Nope. No food at the hotel from 10 a.m. to 4:00. Whaaaaat?!? 424 rooms and nothing offered - not even room service. More importantly - the room! Very very dated. Sliding window over the bed exposing the bathroom. You can close the window but, if you need to have the nightlight on it keeps the bedroom bright as all get out. No promised water bottles in room. One washcloth. One hand towel. No robes. Finally called housekeeping and Victor was nice enough to bring us everything we needed INCLUDING coffee for the in room Kurig. Ordered room service and all food was inedible. Coffee machine is plugged into a low shelf below tv which you can BARELY see to put water in. Set it up for early morning departure and it was broken. Tried and tried. Had to call concierge (no room servicer until 7 on Saturday!!!) and they were kind enough to bring us two hot coffees. So! i Bad room. Bad food. Bad policy regarding in house restaurant. Bad hours for room service. All in all a terrible terrible stay. Will never ever return.
Well earned Best Boston Hotel designation. They represent the reason why I pick IHG as the hotel chain I choose consistently. But BEYOND everything, I CANNOT not mention Zach, from the front desk who amazed me beyond belief. I am a local to the area and sometimes rent rooms when I need space to work on specific cumbersome administrative projects that take time and concentration. I checked in two days prior but did not return until today. NOT ONLY did Zach remember me when I stopped by the front desk, but despite, I am sure, having checked anywhere from a dozen to a hundred guests (busiest hotel in the city), he remembered me AND my room number! I have been around hotels from zero to 5 stars across the entire world and a friendly staff remembering which room I am in DAYS after they checked me in had NEVER happened. I now understand why the rest of the world knows that this facility is within the top 30 on Earth. I could not recommend it enough if I tried.
