The staff is extremely friendly and competent. | The Concierge parking was a challenge. I did the Bataan Memorial Death March and had a ton of luggage including my backpack and sleeping equipment. I told both the receptionist and the parking attendant I wanted all my gear sent to the room. He only brought up two items and none of my hiking equipment or other luggage. He had to retrieve my car for a second time and it was obvious he was pissed. He drove my car like a bat out of hell and reversed it way too quickly. This is the only area that needs to improve at this wonderful hotel.

Beautiful and rooms had robes, slippers, fireplace and turn down service! Food was excellent! | I wish there was a small boutique to buy lovely items from Santa Fe and also wraps, shawls for the chilly porch!

Beautiful, cozy, extra comfy room. Nightly turn down service. Fireplace in the room was fab! | The bar and restaurant staff aren’t particularly attentive for the level of hotel it is.

We have now had two disappointing stays at this hotel. It certainly did not meet our expectations for a luxury hotel. The bar is quite small and was full two evenings. When we asked an assistant manager at the front desk if he could suggest nearby alternatives for happy hour his reply was "Why would I do that?" When parking our vehicle, valet was often absent, and the doorman made no effort to walk the few steps to the curb to take our keys. The rooms are well appointed, and housekeeping was helpful, friendly, and efficient. We visit Santa Fe often and have stayed at La Fonda, Inn on the Alameda, Eldorado, and Inn at Spoleto, the St. Francis, and even the Drury Inn (if we are just there overnight with our dog while in transit to somewhere else). We also frequent luxury hotels in New York, DC, London, Rome and Athens. Based upon our experiences with the staff and facilities at those hotels and our experiences at the Inn at the Anasazi, the other Santa Fe hotels offer reasonable alternatives without having to pay the hefty price. We expected much better from a Rosewood property.

Location was excellent & room was very comfortable | Nothing We were traveling with a small dog, would be nice if there was somewhere to eat & drink on site (such as a patio)

Staff was warm, professional, accommodating, respectful, responsive ... everything you could ask. | Room backed up to alley way in which some delivery trucks / workers interrupted the morning calm one a few mornings.
