I liked the very clean and modern rooms, comfortable bed, also very quiet. Great location. Bar on the 27th floor had great views too!
TripAdvisor Review – Hyatt Regency Denver The Hyatt Regency Denver is, without question, a beautiful and very clean hotel. The property is well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the overall environment reflects the standard you would expect from a Hyatt property. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by a significant lack of transparency regarding package handling fees. The hotel charges $30 per package for items delivered to the property. However, this is not clearly disclosed on the website. The only information provided is a vague statement that “charges may apply.” There is no indication whatsoever that the charge is a flat $30 per package, regardless of the size or nature of the delivery. This lack of disclosure is extremely disappointing. In my case, some of the items I had delivered were less expensive than the $30 handling fee itself, which effectively made those purchases pointless from a value perspective. Items that were meant to be convenient and cost-effective for my trip became unnecessarily expensive. What made the situation even more frustrating is that when collecting the packages, there was no mention of the fee at all. The charge only became apparent after reviewing the final hotel bill, which is when I discovered the $30 charge applied to each delivery. For a hotel that otherwise presents itself so well, the lack of transparency around this fee is very disappointing. Guests should be clearly informed of a charge of this magnitude in advance so they can make informed decisions about whether to have items delivered to the hotel. While the hotel itself is attractive and clean, I strongly believe the package handling policy and its disclosure need to be reviewed and communicated far more clearly to avoid unpleasant surprises for future guests.
Beautiful hotel with newly renovated rooms with gorgeous views of the mountains. Trip ruined by the hotels exorbitant package handling fees. The fees are not disclosed on the website. FLAT FEE OF US $30 per package regardless of size or weight. Party of 3 travelled on business and sent numerous packages, ended up with package fees of over US $600. The fee is unreasonable and predatory. Staff acknowledged it's an issue but it's their policy!
Attended my company's Sales Kick-Off meeting at the Hyatt Regency Denver. It's in the downtown area. We didn't go out of the hotel much except the first day but a decent part of town with many stores and food places around. Everything was handled really well. Great conference facilities. Plenty of elevators! Rooms were spacious. Beds/pillows very comfortable. The gym was spacious and all the equipment worked well. The food was good. Lobby Bar and Coffee/Pastry shop was really nice and open early and late. Staff was very courteous and professional. Very good experience!
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center during a business trip and it was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. As a frequent business traveler, the first and last moments of a hotel stay tend to define the entire experience—and the front door valet team truly set the tone here. From the moment I arrived, the valet staff welcomed me warmly and made me feel genuinely taken care of. Every arrival and departure was handled with professionalism, efficiency, and an unmistakable sense that they take real pride in what they do. What stood out most was the consistency of their hospitality. Whether I was heading out early for meetings or returning after a long day, the team greeted me with the same friendly energy and attention. They remembered faces, moved quickly, and created an atmosphere that made the hotel feel less like a stop on a business trip and more like a place where you’re genuinely looked after. The rest of the property lived up to the same high standard—clean, comfortable rooms, smooth check-in, and a great location for business in downtown Denver. But it was the valet team at the front door who made the strongest impression. Their professionalism and warmth made every arrival feel welcoming and every departure effortless. For any business traveler looking for a hotel that delivers both comfort and exceptional service, the Hyatt Regency Denver is a fantastic choice—and the front door team deserves special recognition for the experience they create every day.
One of the best hotels. Great room designs and very friendly and helpful staff right from the door to the hotel room. Efficient check in (and checkout) processes.
Highly efficient hotel with outstanding service perfect located when attending a conference at the convention center. Lap pool is a big plus - and open early enough to swim before meetings.
great location, a few issues with construction above my room and rude manager who when I asked if they would pause the banging and drilling so I could rest ( I had a medical issue during my stay) her words "absolutely not, we have a deadline. I could move your room if you like." At that point I nearly broke into tears because I had a mobility issue and repacking my belongings for a weeklong stay would eat up the entire rest period i planned before I had to return to my medical conference,. Terrible customer service and the degree of insensitivity was shocking given that the rest of my experience in the hotel was great, and everyone was thoughtful accommodating and courteous. The manager wrote me a follow up that was also very gaslighting and insensitive. Better leadership training perhaps for such situations?
Best place to stay for conference at the convention center. Right across the street. Excellent lobby to meet colleagues and to get a bite to eat. Clean and modern. Rooms are large. Gym was well above average (except for that dead Peloton bike).
