Location, staff, and cleanliness | Pool was ice cold and they said no one reported it but someone should be monitoring.

Had a large, unique, 2 story indoor pool with a waterfall that the kids loved. Lobby was updated and very clean. Rooms are a little dated but clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful! | DO NOT get a room on the interior with a view of the pool. Thought it would be a cool idea but the waterfal is extremely loud and the noise from other kids enjoying the pool made it very hard to get my kids to fall asleep at a reasonable time. Also, had a heavy chlorine smell in the room from being right next to pool. Rooms need some upkeep, had some damaged furniture, and rusted bathroom fixtures. It appears to be a fairly old motel that has been renovated at some point. Not quite what I was expecting based on the photos....but decent for the price.

I stay and then Glen Stone every time I am in Gatlinburg. There is a trolly at this location which makes it easy to get back and forth from town. The pools are amazing. The pool up top goes to 9ft which makes for a great swimming pool. The rooms are always clean and the beds and pillows are top notch. Over the years, it has gone through renovations so don’t let the age of the hotel fool you. It will always be my hotel of choice on every visit.

The front desk guy was nice and informative. They responded instantly to the bathtub water problem and moved us to another room (bigger/nicer). The movie night for the kids was so nice! | One elevator for everyone. The pool was really cold for the kids to play in but it’s a really nice pool.
