Perfect stay

The tub was very slippery. I slipped and had a good scare. Bad eye bruise. You need B B to put grip strips, rubber mats and/or additional grab bars.

This is generally an excellent property, offers very clean rooms and has good amenities on the property. My last visit in April was great. However, this time I was put in a building where there is smoking and it absolutely reeked. I’m not a smoker but was told not to smoke within 15 feet of the building so I assumed I was given a room in a non-smoking building. If you aren’t a smoker, avoid Building 1B.

Nice and quiet place, but they try to pull you into going to a time share pitch.

This property has numerous cottages with several suites to a cottage. There are outdoor stairs (minimum of three) at each cottage and indoor stairs to the second floor suites. No elevators on the entire property. The studio suites have no walk-in shower; larger suites reportedly do. A person needing some accommodations would never know about the limited ones here from the listing on Expedia. The staff will bend over backward to help you, but they can't wave a wand and remove obstacles.

My stay at Club Wyndham Patriot’s Place for the most part was okay. The location was convenient, scenic and quiet. Unfortunately we had a couple of cons to our visit. First, we asked if early check-in was possible. The hotel said it was possible but once we arrived we were told our room was in-fact not ready. We checked in and had waited for 45 mins to be given the keys. During our wait we were directed towards a gentleman at another desk who offered us a “free gift” that was left for us. We found out that the Wyndham Patriot Place is a timeshare property and not a traditional hotel as advertised on Expedia. He offered us a gift in exchange for a scheduled 90 min tour/presentation at another Wyndham property close by. The “free gift” required a deposit and we declined. It made for a strange check-in experience. The next day we received text messages about the tour and free gift. I would advise them not to message guest who decline. It’s off-putting. Secondly, the building/room has a strange stale scent and upon entering our room we discovered a dead water bug by our trash can. After messaging the front desk they did send someone to remove the bug promptly but I was confused as to why it was there if they had just “cleaned” the room. Third, just one night into our stay the room keys were no longer working. Which was nuisance, delaying our plans for the day. Overall, this was an adequate stay.

The bathroom had hairs in the tub. Shower gel on the back of the tub. The refrigerator made no ice. I had to go and buy ice. Not enough blankets for the Queen sleeper sofa. Overall I had a horrible experience. I will NEVER RETURN TO YOUR PROPERTY Also, caulk on the toilet seat. Inside the building smelled of mold. Construction zone around the property. Website didn’t show the room the way it displayed on the website.
