Guest Reviews
We have always loved this hotel as it's near my son and his family's home. We stay here often. This is the first visit in many as a diamond member that we were charged for the overnight vehicle fee. All times previously we have been comped. There are many options for us in the Scottsdale/Phoenix vicinity where we wouldn't have to pay an overnight parking fee. Unfortunately we will be opening up our search for our future visits. The overnight fee adds up. I'm sorry to say this as we've enjoyed our stays here for many years.
I stay at Hilton properties frequently and always request a high floor at check-in. On this stay, I was assigned a first-floor room where the windows were only a few feet from the parking lot. It felt more like a motel setup than what I expect from an Embassy Suites. There was also no acknowledgement of Hilton Diamond status at check-in. Normally that’s standard at most Hilton properties. The hotel itself feels very dated and clearly needs renovation. The staff also seemed confused and unprepared to handle basic requests. After I complained about the room, they moved me to the third floor. Unfortunately that room wasn’t much better and was also in serious need of updating. Midway through my stay the manager texted asking how the stay was going on a scale of 1–5. I responded with a 2. She asked if she could call me between 1:00 and 5:00. The call never happened. Another odd thing: after every Hilton stay I typically receive an email asking me to review the property. I never received one for this stay. There are simply too many other hotel options in this area to justify staying at this Embassy Suites again. In its current condition it does not reflect what most people expect from the Embassy Suites brand.
I liked it Very Nice Hotel very clean | The Happy Hour Food
Nothing | Nasty and ghetto
The breakfast was great, so is the location. | Accessible room with lots of space to move around with wheelchair but getting into and out of the room was hard to to automatic door spring was to hard for opening the door. The water in the shower took 7 minutes to get to 90 degree (according to the technician tested the water). You should let the customer know about those condition, specially for disabled people and wheelchair users.
I will be back!
Close to my work | Dirty walls in the room, terrible pillows and uncomfortable beds
