My stay at The Inn at Longwood Medical the night before surgery was a mixed experience. The location is undeniably convenient, especially for those with early medical appointments, and the hotel offers “discounted” medical rates—though it is still quite expensive overall. As part of my pre-surgery preparation, I was required to shower both the night before and early the next morning. Unfortunately, both showers were very cold. When I raised the issue, I was told the water temperature had been deliberately lowered overnight, with no further explanation or accommodation offered. While the proximity to medical facilities is a major plus, the lack of hot water at such a critical time—and the response to my complaint—was disappointing. It left me questioning the value of the so-called medical discount.

Room was dirty, no hot water for showers, just warm. Very small bathroom. And tub was a huge step up to get in. My disabled husband couldn't get in. The heating system doesn't work and there is a portable heater/AC on floor with a hole in the wall to vent. Very noisy system. Parking was so expensive for night,45 bucks or more. No receipt. Marriott discount not applied. What started out as a $250 room e nded up costing 400 with parking. Beware.

The Inn at Longwood Medical had been incredible as I made reservations for a work conference. Noah worked with me, outlining options and adjusting my reservation as things changed. I do not travel often and Noah at the Inn was very helpful in answering my questions and providing information!

Great location- lots of food options nearby.

Has everything you need and conveniently located near all the heath care buildings

The best Boston “find” for a hotel close to the medical hub: Mass General Brigham, Dana Farber, Children’s Hospital, and many medical specialists are all within an easy walk. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the Longwood Grille is an elevator ride away (great for when the weather isn’t conducive to exploring.) They offer a discount to patients- just bring proof of your appointment. More often than not, I’m by myself for medical appointments, and staying at the Inn makes me feel very safe. The parking garage is well lit and covered, one flat rate until noon the following day. And as mentioned, the restaurant is easy access as well. There’s also inside access to the food court with McD’s, Dunkin and a variety of other food options. At a time when health issues can be stressful enough, at least your stay overnight won’t be! (It’s also very close to a lot of attractions in Boston: Fenway Park, Museum of Fine Arts, far too many to list.)

We have used the Inn at Longwood Medical for our annual Quality and Safety event for our hospital. With nearly 400 doctors and nurses in attendance and a short time frame, the team at the Longwood Inn does an excellent job of making sure everything is perfect; seating, food, and AV needs. The entire event is handled so well - and was well received by our Hospital staff. Thank you for all your hard work in making our event a success!

I stayed here during the blizzard February 2026. Noah was great and I was able to check in early as I am a nurse and had worked the night shift and needed to sleep. The room was comfortable and clean.

Our experience at The Inn at Longwood Medical was nothing short of positive. Very convenient to Boston Children's (super walkable), rooms were clean and well stocked. Strongest point of this hotel is their staff. All were extremely friendly. Angel and Noah went above and beyond, helping us get a situation resolved with a 3rd party booking site. They took the information, said they would handle it, and got everything taken care of within an hour. We will absolutely be back the next time we have an appointment at Boston Children's. Thank you Angle and Noah, you guys are the best!!!
